Ultrahuman Launches HealthEx PowerPlug to Combine Medical Records with Continuous Ultrahuman Ring Data for Always-on Health Awareness

SAN FRANCISCO and NEW YORK, Sept. 17, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Ultrahuman today launched the HealthEx PowerPlug, the latest addition to Ultrahuman’s suite of added capabilities, which combines a member’s medical records with continuous biomarkers from the Ultrahuman Ring in a secure, transparent, and consented manner.

Rolling out this week into the Ultrahuman app, members can connect their comprehensive health records through HealthEx, the platform that enables individuals to access their medical records and share them with any trusted health application, AI tool, provider, or health plan. Individuals choose which care sites to access records from, actively consent to sharing their records, and can stop sharing those records at any time.

The HealthEx PowerPlug maps 532 conditions, medications, and procedures from electronic medical records into the Ultrahuman app to enable:

  • Medical context alongside ring markers: Resting heart rate, heart rate variability, skin temperature, and deep sleep from the Ultrahuman Ring sit on the same timeline as the medications, procedures, and diagnoses in medical records. Members can see new diagnoses or medications alongside their day-to-day ring measurements and understand activity changes alongside their overall health profile.
  • Identification of missed follow-ups: Results and medications appear with their dates in the PowerPlug. Where a condition, procedure, or medication in the record implies a marker that hasn’t been checked, or a follow-up interval that’s lapsed, the PowerPlug turns it into a question for the next appointment.
  • Visit Pack for more informed appointments: Members get a doctor-ready summary for their next appointment, covering what’s in their record and medications they’re taking, tied to their wearable data. The PowerPlug also flags questions and tests to raise with their doctor based on their reports.

The HealthEx PowerPlug addresses a long-standing challenge in American healthcare. Most people’s health records are spread across the clinics, hospitals, labs and specialists they’ve visited over a lifetime, leaving them to piece together their own history.

The average doctor’s appointment in the US lasts just 15 minutes, and care is often split between a primary care physician and several specialists who work in different practices and don’t share records.

The HealthEx PowerPlug puts that information in one place for the member and their care team.

How the HealthEx PowerPlug works

Powered by HealthEx, the PowerPlug reads the medical records a member chooses to connect to continuous Ultrahuman Ring biomarkers.

After a member verifies their identity, HealthEx locates their comprehensive health records automatically across the places they have received care, reaching records nationwide through the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA).

“In the US, people visit multiple care providers a year, and key follow-ups and tests are missed because nobody has all the information they need,” said Mohit Kumar, CEO and Founder of Ultrahuman. “Our partnership with HealthEx fundamentally changes that. It puts crucial health records in one place and adds context to Ring measurements.”

“When seeing patients as a physician, I’d often see individuals at critical moments in their health journey. It could be a challenge to piece together an individual’s complete health history, and too often resulted in delays in care that could have real consequences,” said Priyanka Agarwal, M.D., MBA, co-founder and CEO of HealthEx. “A medical record captures what happened at the visit, and Ultrahuman shows how the body responds every day after it. When members choose to connect the two through HealthEx, they arrive at their next appointment with the most complete health picture, helping them arrive better prepared for that conversation.”

Availability and pricing

The HealthEx PowerPlug is rolling out from today in the United States for Ultrahuman Ring users in the Ultrahuman app. It costs $4.99/mo or $45.99/yr and can be accessed via the Ultrahuman PowerPlugs tab on the dashboard. HealthEx Wallet, where individuals can view their unified longitudinal health history, is currently free for all directly from HealthEx.

Deeper HealthEx integration with other Ultrahuman PowerPlugs, such as Vitamin D, GLP-1 and Respiratory Health, is coming soon. This will unlock more personalization across other PowerPlugs.
