Interlock Equity (“Interlock”), a Los Angeles-based private equity firm focused on knowledge-based, people-driven businesses, is pleased to announce the sale of Lovelytics, a leading data and AI services firm and member of the Databricks Brickbuilder Partner Network, to CDW Corporation.
Founded in 2017 by Scott Love and headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, Lovelytics advises enterprise-level customers and engineers solutions for the modernization, governance, and utilization of data to deploy AI at scale. The firm has been named a Databricks Partner of the Year across multiple categories since 2022, including Energy & Utilities Partner of the Year and Brickbuilder Partner of the Year in 2026. In 2025, Lovelytics was named Enterprise & Emerging Business Unit Partner of the Year (Americas) and Communications, Media & Entertainment, and Gaming Partner of the Year.
Interlock partnered with Lovelytics in 2023 with the goal of building a leading vertically focused data and AI consultancy in the Databricks ecosystem. Led by Founder and Chief Executive Officer Scott Love, Lovelytics grew from 60 to more than 600 employees across the United States, Canada, Argentina and Colombia. Concurrent with Interlock’s initial partnership, Lovelytics received a strategic co-investment from Databricks, the first investment made by Databricks in a consultancy partner.
“Lovelytics is the embodiment of what we at Interlock believe – that the most enduring businesses are built by founders who put their people first,” said Stefan Jensen, Co-Founder and Managing Director at Interlock Equity and Member of the Board of Directors of Lovelytics during Interlock’s investment period. “From our first conversation with Scott, it was clear this belief was the foundation on which he had built Lovelytics, from a vision well ahead of the market, to a culture defined by its people. Partnering with companies like Lovelytics is why Interlock exists. We thank Scott and the entire Lovelytics team for an outstanding partnership and look forward to their continued success as part of CDW.”
“Every founder hopes to find a partner who believes in what they are building as deeply as they do. In Interlock, we found exactly that,” said Scott Love, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lovelytics. “They backed our people, our vision, and our partnership with Databricks, and helped us become a global firm without losing the culture that defined us. CDW gives us the reach to bring that work to more customers than ever, and I could not be more proud of the team that got us here.”
The transaction, valued at approximately $525 million, closed on September 25, 2026. Canaccord Genuity served as financial advisor and Massumi + Consoli served as legal advisor to Interlock Equity and Lovelytics.
