Fellow Health, a leading company focused on advancing male reproductive health through patient-centric testing solutions, today announced that industry executive and private equity advisor Paul Kappelman has been appointed Independent Chairman of the Board. Mr. Kappelman brings more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience, including deep expertise in fertility care, to support Fellow Health in its next phase of growth.
Mr. Kappelman previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Ovation Fertility, where he oversaw the company’s expansion and guided the organization through its acquisition by US Fertility. During his tenure, he focused on strengthening clinical operations and working closely with physicians to support long-term organizational performance.
Prior to Ovation, Mr. Kappelman held senior leadership roles across hospital systems and healthcare services organizations, including serving as Chief Operating Officer of Ardent Health Services and leading hospital operations at LHP Hospital Group. Earlier in his career, he served as a hospital CEO, including leading the development and launch of a new hospital from the ground up. He currently serves as a Senior Independent Operating Advisor to Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, where he works with healthcare management teams on growth strategy, governance, and execution.
“Paul has unmatched experience building and scaling healthcare organizations,” said Brian Hogan, CEO of Fellow Health. “As we continue to grow our network of more than 3,000 fertility and urology practices, his perspective as a former fertility CEO and board leader will be invaluable. We’re excited to welcome Paul as Chairman as we focus on scaling with intention, strengthening clinical partnerships, and expanding access to modern reproductive health solutions for men.”
“Fellow Health is addressing long-standing gaps in reproductive health by combining clinical rigor with a modern, patient-first model,” said Kappelman. “The company has built meaningful trust with providers by making care easier to deliver and easier for patients to complete. I’m excited to partner with the leadership team as they continue to expand access to their mail-in semen analysis kits.”
Mr. Kappelman holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
